Absolutely great pubngrub! We visited with a family group, two young kids in tow. Very good experience and staff were great. Food was fine, beer good. Very happy and would recommend.
Go here a lot when I want proper food, beer garden is very nice when you get the weather. Don't think I've had a bad experience and food is always amazing. Corned beef pie and chips is fave
The staff were fantastic and the word was phenomenal, I fully recommend the giant Yorkshire pudding!!! They accommodate for every taste and you really get what you pay for. We highly recommend and will definitely return soon!!! Thank you to all the staff at the Crooked Billet Inn for a very warm welcome and brilliant service.
Second time here. Once again I went for a humongous Yorkshire pudding with sausages. Lovely atmosphere and seriously impressively attentive staff given how busy it was. Also, they managed to find us a table on a Sunday afternoon when it was heaving. Well worth a visit, I'd say.
Sat 3rd Nov. Arrived at 6-45pm booked table for 4 . The pub had just got their electricity back on due to power cut but had quickly got back on track . Well done staff. We had 4 excellent mains of which the belly pork was voted the best ! Deserts were really good except for one of the plum puddings was hot on the outside but cold in the middle . It didnt stop it been eaten as it tasted good and we told the waitress and she was sorry for the oversight. Very attentive owner and staff and will be visiting again soon .
