We called in because we have a voucher for a meal there. So we called in for a drink and it is a lovely pub who do lovely meals. It has a lovely warm feel to it and looking forward to going for our meal next month.
Lovely food, the hake was done very well, cooked perfectly. Tempura king prawns were excellent. Situated out of York but well worth going to. Recommended
Pretty good food that goes beyond the usual "pub grub". Quite a long drive - part of it on narrow country lanes that adds to the charm. Loved my haddock though ham terrine was too salty. Mixed dessert was awesome. Good friendly service.
