Had a wonderful day with my daughter lovely body mud treatment and massage then afternoon tea beautiful
I booked the mid serail treatment with 45 mins relaxation and afternoon tea then paid extra for my boyfriend to have a massage. This was all booked for the day of his birthday. On the morning of his birthday (the day we were going to imagine spa) we had a call to cancel the massage as the therapist had a family emergency. I asked to cancel the massage and for a refund and thank god we did as when we got to imagine spa the door to outside was open meaning the spa reception area and where changing rooms are was cold, it wasnt clean (the toilets were dirty), the relaxation room was a couple of chairs in a room with some music on (dated and no way spa luxury youd expect), the carpets needed a good hoover. Overall it was a let down.We asked for our prosecco before our treatment, this was sat waiting for us after we finished our mud treatment so was Luke warm. Once finishing the mud treatment youre wet from washing the mud off so as you can imagine walking to the changing rooms through the cold reception was awful. I was frozen! Im really unhappy with the service and the spa itself and would recommend to AVOID at all costs.Afternoon tea - the sandwiches were slightly stale round the edges and we sat in the library where all the tables were dirty and had dirty plates on yet no one was sat in there. When the girl brought us our food she walked past the dirty plates and left them. There was no service, we were given our afternoon tea then we didnt see a waitress again and no one came to check everything was ok. Very disappointing.
Staff were nice but stressed and understaffed. Left waiting for an hour before someone turned up at reception. The relaxation room was 5 chairs and the same song on loop. The mud treatment was good just needed to be a little warmer
I booked a full day treatment for my wife and her best friend (who had booked a train in advance for this special day) as a birthday treat.This was cancelled the day before at 5pm by Imagine spas who left a voice message.When i called up the next day it was explained to me that it was cancelled due to illness. I asked for my money back so that i could use this money to treat my wife to some thing else.They told me it would be in my account within TWO weeks. Two weeks later i still had not received my money back so i left several voice messages before finally getting hold of someone who again told me that i would have to wait another TWO weeks.... i am still waiting ONE month on. I am seriously NOT impressed.This is terrible service! I will be coming this bank holiday...
Bought a gift voucher online for half a spa day, mud serail and a cocktail. When we arrived hardly any instruction was given as to where to go and what to do. They said they dont have a proper spa so we couldnt do the half a spa day. The mud serail was far to hot to enjoy. Once we got our afternoon tea which we paid extra for they stated they dont do cocktails which was what was included in my voucher! Very dissapointed as this was a present for my fianc. Wouldnt come again
